I am Nasreen Khan. I don’t write often but what you have done for me fills my heart with a lot of gratitude. As I sit here in my room, reflecting on my life, I feel my story needs to be told and shared so that more and more people feel empowered to use crowdfunding platforms like ImpactGuru. This one’s for all the donors, for restoring my faith in humanity.
Life… A Roller Coaster Ride
As I sit by the window, sipping on a cup of tea and admiring the many shades of life, it takes me back to my journey, where it all started.
I was only a few years old when I lost both my parents. Ever since then, my only aim was to make something of myself so that my parents would be proud of me. All alone, I’d tried my best to build my life back again. But, I was diagnosed with two life-threatening diseases that held me back from moving forward in life.
I have had a problem with my leg ever since I was just two years old. I don’t really know how it happened. Due to the weakness, I couldn’t stand on my own two feet. Hence, I had to use a walker for support. With the help of the walker, I started to walk a bit. To add to my agony, I was also diagnosed with Osteoporosis. With excruciating pain, I spent some of the longest nights, filled with fear, worried I’d never be able to walk again.

The Miracle Named ImpactGuru
Not knowing where life was taking me, I started looking for help desperately. I was on the verge of losing hope when I chanced upon ImpactGuru. As I started searching online, I realized it was the only viable option for me as I lacked the necessary funds for my treatment. Deciding not to waste any more time, I took matters into my own hands and with some guidance from my doctor, I created a crowdfunding campaign to raise funds.
To my utmost surprise, it was really touching to see such generosity from compassionate individuals I hadn’t met or had heard of. My fundraiser received an overwhelming response, and today, if I am able to stand on my two feet, it is all because of you. I wholeheartedly thank you all for your unconditional support. From here on, I wish to live a long and fulfilling life.
Your kindness and generosity made a tremendous impact on my life. For as long as I live, I’ll owe my life to you.
